You can't save a whole world of dogs,
but you can save the whole world of one dog!

Dear Amigos/Friends of the Museum,

Last week, in spite of lots of work preparing for Arte Viva, we went up to Goldra to take some pics of the remaining dogs and give them all a stroke and a cuddle as they are a bit lonely up there on the hot Goldra hillside.

If these doggies are not rehomed soon, the future looks pretty bleak for them. All the young, smaller and pretty ones have gone to new homes already but these..? We have 15 dogs up at Bico Alto already and our small kennels, horses hay barn, guest room and terrace are all dog dens now so we cannot house any more. Please help if you can and take on one of these "left-overs". He/she will be eternally grateful.

The big grey/brindle is a Rafeiro do Alentejo cross and very gentle. He would make someone a great guard dog. We can help with advice and training if necessary. There is also a similar female Rafeiro cross walking the streets of Sao Bras. She also desperately needs a home. Spaying/neutering will be done by Goldra vet.

Many thanks dear friends for taking the time to read this personal update. Your support is much appreciated.

Marie and Adrian Mombers, Amigos do Museu.
