 With roots in the Algarve, her artistic development began in Paris, where she worked in advertising and fashion design. These expressive sectors led her to painting, and today the countless exhibitions she visits each year, coupled with her interest for history, have helped her even further to the continuation of her «passion» for the arts.
She uses abstract art to express sensations, impressions and feelings, such as passion. The materials she uses are many, and include canvas, paper, oil, pastel, pigments, fibres and sequins. Everything imagination and art allow her to use. Self taught, colours and movement inhabit her work. Preciousness and prestige serve as a common denominator. The mystery of ancient civilisations, arabesques and oriental culture are her font of inspiration. With the aim of helping to develop and encourage culture in the Algarve, the painter has created the Algarve Artists Network, in partnership with other artists based in the region.  C om raízes algarvias, o seu desenvolvimento artístico começou em Paris onde trabalhou em publicidade e estilismo. Foram estas expressões que a conduziram à pintura. Hoje, as inúmeras exposições que visita anualmente e o seu interesse por história dão o contributo necessário à continuidade da sua «paixão» pelas artes.
Utiliza a arte abstracta para exprimir sensações, impressões e sentimentos, como a paixão. Os materiais são diversificados, tais como tela, papel, óleo, pastel, pigmentos, fibras e lantejoulas. Tudo o que a imaginação e arte lhe permitem usar.
Autodidacta, as cores e o movimento povoam as suas obras. O «precioso» e o «prestígio» servem de fio condutor. O mistério das antigas civilizações, os arabescos e a cultura oriental são a sua fonte de inspiração. Não há uma corrente cultural com a qual se identifique mais: de cada uma extrai o que considera «belo».
Com o objectivo de ajudar a desenvolver e dinamizar a cultura no Algarve, a pintora faz parte da associação Algarve Artists Network em parceria com outros artistas sedeados na região. Este projecto permite-lhe trabalhar na organização de exposições de pintura e de artes plásticas sobre o Algarve.
