  Anna Theeuves nasceu e cresceu na Holanda. Estudou na Academia de Venlo e foi aluna da pintora holandesa Jetty Krammer. Trabalhou em joalharia, em pintura de aguarela e principalmente com tecidos. Desenvolveu várias técnicas de manufactura de materiais e de decoração. Em 1993 veio para o Algarve onde continua a trabalhar com aguarelas e a ter aulas de pintura com Jane Page, com quem também trabalha em cerâmica e pintura de azulejo. Nos últimos anos dedicou-se à pintura a óleo. Os seus trabalhos mais recentes expressam toda a alegria e cor que existem dentro de si.
 I was born and grew up in Holland and as long as I can remember have been creative. I studied working with fabrics at the Art Academy in Venlo, The Netherlands, learning how to dry, spin and weave wool. I also did screen-printing and Batik work on cotton as well as painting on silk. I worked with silver and bead jewellery and painting in watercolours. In Holland, I took private lessons from the Dutch painter Jetty Kramer. When I came to the Algarve in 1993, I continued painting in watercolours, taking classes with Jane Page, and at her studio I also worked with ceramics and tile painting. In recent years, I have moved to painting in oils, which I love. My most recent paintings express all the joy and colour I feel within myself.
