Arlindo Arez was born in Portimão in 1957.
His gallery is situated in Qt.ª dos Pôrtos em Alcaler (Portimão).
Arlindo has had exhibitions in Portugal, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Belgium, England, Mexico and Thailand.
He enjoys working in different mediums, such as, sculpture, engraving and metal. For his sculptures he uses different materials, wood, stone, bronze, iron, glass etc. Arlindo is the creator of various projects in public places including the statue “Aves” in Moita, “Monumento ao agricultor”and “Monumento ao poeta João de Bráz" in Portimão, “Monumento ao Dr. Francisco Fernandes Lopes” in Olhão, “Monumento ao Homem do Rio”and “Monumento Ave” in Lagoa.
