 Nela Vicente nasceu em 1961.
Inicia os seus estudos nas Artes Plásticas em 1975. Possui formação superior em Arte pela Volkshochule de Dusseldorf - Alemanha, cidade onde viveu durante 12 anos e onde também tirou o curso de História de Arte e Pintura, sob a orientação do mestre Peter Storch, no Kunstmuseum.
Participa em exposições desde 1980 e expõe regularmente em vários países da Europa, nomeadamente em Espanha, França, Áustria, Bélgica, Inglaterra e Portugal. Foi premiada com várias medalhas e menções honrosas internacionais. Está representada em colecções particulares na Alemanha, Espanha e Portugal.
É membro da Académie Européenne des arts sediada em Bruxelas.

 Nela Vicente was born in 1961 and began studying art in 1975.
Living in Dusseldorf,Germany for a period of 12 years her formal art training also included her attending a course of History of Art and Painting under the guidance of Peter Storch in the Kunstmuseum.
Since 1980 Nela has participated in many exhibitions throughout Europe including Spain, France, Belgium, UK, Austria and Portugal, winning various awards ,medals and honourable mentions for her work.
She is a member of European Academy of Arts in Brussels.
