Nela Vicente was born in 1961 and began studying art in 1975.
Living in Dusseldorf,Germany for a period of 12 years her formal art training also included her attending a course of History of Art and Painting under the guidance of Peter Storch in the Kunstmuseum.
Since 1980 Nela has participated in many exhibitions throughout Europe including Spain, France, Belgium, UK, Austria and Portugal, winning various awards ,medals and honourable mentions for her work.
She is a member of European Academy of Arts in Brussels.
