Vesna Pantelic

Vesna Pantelic was a student at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, SCG, under Professor Cedomir Krstic.

She graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts New York, USA, as a student of Professors Avel de Knight and Serge Holerbach.

As a student she gained one of the most important prizes for her painting “James Saydam”, awarded by the National Academy of Fine Arts in New York.

She is a member of the Austrian Art Association and of ULUS, SCG. She has exhibited in USA, Portugal, Spain, Israel, Switzerland, Cuba, Serbia, Austria, Germany, Tunisia and China.

During 2008, she was invited to participate in the Conference Symposium of the third International Art Biennial in Beijng. and received an award for excellence from the organising committee for the 2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture Design Collection competition. She has been invited to exhibit at the Olympic Fine Art 2008, organised by the International Olympic Committee of the 29th Olympiad and the Ministry of Culture of the PRC. Her sculpture work will be exhibited in Beijing from August until September 2008, when the exhibition will then travel worldwide until 2010.
