They call themselves a 20s Hot Dance
Orchestra because they feature hot-dance and jazz music of the 20s
and 30s. This ten piece band plays lively infectious music, excellent for
pure fun dancing and entertainment.
Their music appeals to a wide audience - The 20s music
was so hot that we still know it today the Charleston being the most
famous rhythm of its time. The band made its debut performance on April 30,
2006 at the Spring Fair at the Museu do Trajo de São Brás.
Oo-Boop-I-Do seen & heard on BBC TV & Radio,
renowned for superb entertainment & silent tap dance! The band comprises
trumpets trombone saxophones clarinets piano
banjo tuba drums ... plus stylish vocals. An international band,
combining talents from Portugal, Brazil, Canada, Australia, England and Wales.

featuring the most popular music of the 20th century, plays again in São

Thirty-three years ago to the day young officers ended Portugal’s 40-year dictatorship with the bloodless "Carnation Revolution" that led to independence for its African colonies.
