Art Exhibition Opening

Two new exhibitions are being launched today. The New Gallery will host an exhibition of work by Marina Mourão, whose "Absinto" is pictured. The rescheduled exhibition of works by Romy Palmeira, Elke Heiner, Elza Newton, Manda Beeching will be simultaneously opened in the Museum Gallery.

Free entry.

Jazz Club:

We proudly present Spanish Sax-Player, Javier Orti together with Experimental Jazz-Lab and a surprise guest, as well.

Javier, presently teaching at the conservatory of Bollullos, is involved in many projects throughout Spain, and is considered one of the best Sax-players. Nacho Megina is a teacher who participates in many jazz and flamenco projects just like Renato Madeira.

Javier is inspired by great musicians like Parker, Coltrane, Ellington, Miles Davis, Jesus Santandreu and Perico Sambeat.

Music Hall Returns

As a result of countless requests for an ENCORE, the original cast and crew of The Angels Theatre group will perform again their unforgettable Musical Hall performances here at the Museu do Trajo, São Brás de Alportel.

This is a once-off performance and will definitely be the last opportunity to see or see again the drama and comedy, the music and the songs that made up one of the most talked about shows of 2009.

• Sausage & Mash supper (Vegetarian option by prior request)
• Buxom Serving Wenches and burly Pot Men providing table service for drinks and food throughout the show
• Raffle prizes with free tickets for those in period dress
