Easter Bazaar
The Easter Fair this year will take place on Sunday 3rd April in the pleasant Museum garden. There will be lots of things to see and buy from small home producers, artisans and other creative designers with the emphasis on recycled materials. There is entertainment for all the family including Hunt the Easter Egg and Easter Bonnet competitions, as well as a whole range of refreshments, charity stalls and raffle.

Workshop and Inauguration of Ebru painting exhibition
Art Ebru is the most popular traditional Islamic Turkish art. It can be basically defined as painting on water and fixed in paper that has traditionally been used in the ornamentation of books. The earliest work that is known for using this technique was dated 1595. Currently, this technique has been used in various materials such as cloth, porcelain, marble, wood and leather. All materials used are found in nature.
With İbrahim Aybek, a young architect and teacher, you will have this unique opportunity to learn the ancient technique of painting Ebru. Reserve you place now.

Classical Concert
Josué Nunes studied at the Conservatório de Música do Algarve and holds a degree in guitar from the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa where he studied with professor Piñero Nagy. He appeared at the Vienna Conservatory in Austria, the “Conservatório de Tomar - Canto Firme” and at the 1st Festival of Classical Music in Tavira. Josué was guest soloist at various International Guitar Festivals including the 6th Guitar Festival Phillip Neri, Bologna - Italy.
The concert is a presentation of the latest CD of guitarist Josué Nunes entitled Renascer. The program includes works by Bach, Villa Lobos, Pernambuco, F. Sor, M. Ponce and Albeniz.

Jazz Club: OJL Redux
The Association of Jazz Musicians of the Algarve and the Jazz Orchestra were born in 2004 on the initiative of musician Hugo Alves, who was also the mentor, the founder and artistic director of music.
Hugo Alves is a major trumpeter in the jazz scene and internationally recognised having edited 3 CDs. Within the musical world of Arts, OJL's stage, there are other configurations including The AJMMA All Stars, The Saxophone Quartet, and OJL Redux.
