Christmas Jam with Jazz AFF Septet (Sunday 17th)

Friends of São Brá Museum proudly presents the new band of the Associaçõ Filarmónica de Faro: "JazzAFF" - the group consists of seven teachers and students from the Association and plays a wide variety of jazz, from Dixieland to Latin, Funk and Ska. Their performance will provide a really great start for the big Christmas jam-session that will follow. Mulled wine and "tapas" available. Party time! Sunday 17th, 6.00 pm. Tickets: 5 €.

  • Second film — 7.30 pm — Tsotsi. Based on South African playwright Athol Fugard's only novel, Tsotsi is a thrilling, provocative look at life in the ghettos outside Johannesburg. Presley Chweneyagae stars as the title character, a teenager with a killer stare who lives alone in a ramshackle room in a poor shantytown, where he pulls off petty crimes with the help of three compatriots ...

Seven musicians from the Banda Filarmónica de Faro on stage - fun evening. Jam along! Festive refreshments. Party time!
