Jazz Club: Duncan Kinnell Quartet
We will be celebrating Christmas at the Jazz-Club do Museu. Our guest performers and entertainers will be the Duncan Kinnell Quartet, already well-known among our members.
Duncan, a multi-instrumentalist (vibraphone, percussion, piano and vocals) plays together with two other famous British musicians Clive Pracy (on drums) and Paul Mitchell Davidson (on jazz guitar). The Quartet is completed by the great double-bass player, Nuno Gonçalves, from Lisbon.
Their repertoire consists of well-known themes from composers such as Bill Evans, Kurt Weil, Cole Porter, Burt Bacharach etc, blended with virtuoso improvisations by the members of the quartet, and, last but not least, including cool, swinging Christmas music.
A "not-to-miss" opportunity to enjoy a concert of accessible, high standard, energetic jazz music.
As always, there will be a jam session after the concert.
Entrance Fee: 10 € (Friends 8 €).
