Arte Viva 10th Anniversary - Ten times improved!
This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of ARTE VIVA, hosting our unique festival of Live Art and Music. Local Algarve and international artists will show their work and how they work in a relaxed ambiance quite different from the usual conservative gallery-style presentation.
Several kinds of techniques ranging from oils, water-colours and acryl to digital, sculptures and ceramics as well as children’s art will be on display. Visitors can express their artistic talents and expertise by participating in our huge collective painting.
We will also have a variety of “alternative art” including jewellery and bijouterie, and other hand-made items and face-painting. Live art also means live street entertainment with tantalising stilt-walkers and fireeaters to surprise the visitors and participants alike.
Jouk’s Fashion Show will of course be there to present this summer’s cool, funky fashions. Last but not least will be Live, Multi-cultural, Music and Food. Something to suit everyone’s palate and ear. Eating, drinking, listening and dancing are the ingredients of a successful July night at the Museum.

Entrance fee at the gate: 4 €, children up to 12 years, free. Signposted Parking around the museum area.
