Concert: Trio L'Abaco (Thursday 2nd October)
.jpg) This talented young German threesome, Karolina Trojok (Piano), Hendrik Blumenroth (Cello), Svenja Borgstädt (Flute), was formed in 2005, winning the German National Young Musician Competition under the name Sine Nomine Trio.
They adopted their present name after performing in the final concert of the Schaffhausener Master Course in 2007.

Concert: The Amsterdam Chamber Group (Friday 24th October)
 A welcome return to São Brás by these excellent young musicians. Their tour in 2007 was the highlight of the year.
Whatever programme they bring, we can be assured of a varied and professional presentation.

.JPG) Jazz @ The Museum: Al-Bravía! (Sunday 19th October)
After the big "African Party" that took place in the Museum gardens in September, this event will take place in the charming and warm "old sala".
Al-Bravía is a result of the fusion of the traditional Alentejo with Brazilian and Algarvian music. The band comprises João Frade - accordion; Rico Lima - guitar, percussion and vocals; Paulo Rosa (Paulão) - drums; and Paulo Colaço - guitar, vocals and viola campaniça (a 10- or 12-stringed guitar with a deeply indented waist almost like a figure of eight). 
As usual, there will be a jam session after the concert.
