St Valentine's Day Dinner and Dance Avond.
Muzikaal begeleid door de N ew Orleans Jazz Band .
Last year our Valentine’s Dinner/Dance was a huge success but left some disappointed because they booked too late. We have limited space, and reservations for this year are being received already. To avoid disappointment BOOK NOW!

This year the dinner and dance will take place on Saturday 13 February 19:30h at the New Gallery in the Museum. We are offering a 3-course dinner (vegetarian option available) with music by the NEW ORLEANS JAZZ BAND for the same price as last year 25€/20€ Amigos.
Your reservation will only be confirmed on receiving full payment. Spaces are filling up quickly so don’t be late for this very popular event!
Dress Code is smart casual.

Jazz @ The Museum - Vibraphone Quartet
the return of Duncan Kinnel, een engelse professionele muzikant op vibraphone, die o.a. gespeeld heeft met Sammy Davis Jr, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross, etc. etc.
Deze multi-instrumentalist (piano, zang, drums en slagwerk) zal in de Jazz-club optreden samen met de welbekende Nuno Gonçalves, ook bekend als leider van de Hotclube de Jazz in Lissabon, op bas en verder met Paul Davidson, een van de beste jazz-gitaar spelers in de Algarve en met Clive Pracy, ook niet de minste, op drums.
Hun repertoire bestaat uit wereldnummers van componisten als Michel Legrand, Bill Evans, Burt Bacharach, Gershwin, Kurt Weil, Cole Porter en vele anderen.

Concert: 
The Trip Tango project was initiated in 2008 by students of the Music Department of Évora University. One of their objectives is the sound of the Tango but more specifically the music of the great master of the Argentine Tango, Astor Piazzolla.
The project was originally for accordion and piano but has recently included the violin and bass thus amplifying the range of sound and music.
The group is made up of Jorge Caeiro - accordion, Selmo Carreira - piano, Rita Sousa - violin and Tiago Valentim - bass.
