Jazz Club: Red Earth Trio

The Jazz Club opens the doors of the old stable again to present the Red Earth Trio, featuring James Mellor (piano), Luís Henrique (bass) and Ricardo Lima (percussion), with special guest, the well-known jazz singer Manuela Lopes.

This trio's programme will include some very beautiful arrangements by the pianist, James Mellor.

As usual there will be a jam session after the concert.

Classical Music Concert: Alena Khmelinskaia (Piano)

Alena Khmelinskaia is a young Luso- Russian pianist, born in Novosibirsk about 19 years ago. She completed her music studies at the regional music academy, Conservatório Regional do Algarve, where she obtained the highest grade. She has been awarded several national and international prizes. She has always been active as a concert pianist, giving many recitals in Portugal and abroad. The concert program includes works by: Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov.
